I have delluxe 7.0 and 8.0 and cant really justify either one of them. If you wanted to go to some extreme lengths cut and pasteing some of the drum samples it might be good to have, but most of the Wav files you need for that can be found just surfing the web. To tell you the truth  I would seriously look around at other choices before buying Cakewalk at all...
