You know I have to confess I have never tried either of the reset
procedures as outlined by posts to the message board.  It looks
like both methods work, under different circumstances.  I suspect
the cable loop back method is the physical control surface/ midi
diagnostic.  The latter method more of a "ctrlaltdel".

I probably will post those two methods on their own page along
with the factory presets in sysex form.  Both reset procedures
seem to have saved a few peoples butts.  It would save people
having to hunt through the archive.

I wonder if it's possible to buy a service manual from Korg
without being a "factory authorized" service center.  I'd get one
if it were available.
