Patching Matrix style annunciator panels give visual feedack on all of the Korg 168RC external 24 input to channel assignments, the digital 'B' out matrix, the monitor and external direct patch options.  Verify what's connected to what.. instantly. With the exception of the Input Phase switches on the Input Matrix Annunciator panel, , these patching panels are annunciators only and the patch options must be selected from the Korg 168RC itself.
